Discover the beauty and history of our region with our unique VW bus guided tours. Our chauffeur-driven bus takes you through ancient woodlands, charming villages, and historic stately homes while we share fascinating stories and urban legends of the area with you.

Our tours are tailored to your interests and run all summer.

From stunning bluebells in spring to the enchanting autumn colours of the trees, we offer bespoke itineraries. You can explore castles, visit a Buddhist temple, visit the site of ancient battles, see deer in their natural habitat, and more. Our tours also include visits to unique sites such as a highwayman's grave, a lover's coffin on a chimney top, and the tallest church spire. This is a unique experience not to be missed and is narrated throughout by your Chuffuer.

What do we offer?

We offer full-day, half-day, and evening star-gazing tours at your own pace, so you can take your time at each location. Our tours can be customised for special occasions, such as birthdays  anniversaries and even proposals.

Refreshments and local hospitality are available along the way.

 

Our attractions include Bluebell Woods, Berkhamsted Castle, Pitstone Windmill, Ashridge House and Monument, Ivinghoe Beacon, Huge Lion Gyoglyph carved into the hillside, and more.

 

Join us for a tour and let us show you the treasures of our region. Please note that our tours are weather-dependent and may be cancelled in rainy, or slippery conditions.

Our VW bus does not have air conditioning, and rear seat belts are not provided. Most attractions can be enjoyed from the comfort of the camper but good shoes maybe needed to explore on foot.

You could start your special day with a visit to the incredible Bluebells in ancient woodlands (Spring late March to early May), before spending some time at the Buddest temple. There are many fascinating sites to visit in the area like historic stately homes 1000 year old crumbling castles or the 483 foot long Lion gyoglyph carved into the hillside.  There are woodland Cafes, tea rooms & public houses for you to dine, then why not end your day with a trip to the most beautiful Cinema in the world, before being returned to public transport hub. Whipsnade White Lion

This unusual geoglyph was built as a warning so low-flying aircraft wouldn't scare the zoo animals. Unlike Englands other giant hill figures, which are usually horses, this unique geoglyph shows the king of the jungle in all its feline glory. The unusual choice of subject was created for an equally unusual reason.
